Tulips in my garden last spring
This photo was taken with my husband's new digital camera last spring. I must say that I prefer my old Olympus - it feels more comfortable. The photo reminds me of spring. Soon the almond trees will start to bloom and in no time I will be able to enjoy my cup of coffee on my terrace. Carnival time is over. It is time for spring to come.

Yes...Ash Wednesday today...beginning of Lent...time for reflection and renewal. Beautiful picture to illustrate it. I miss the change of seasons in Brazil...tropical weather is just drought or rains. Here in the south, we have a better idea...but it's only in the countryside that I can see the transformation... not in the big concrete jungle where I live.
